This site is about featuring ski deals, and other than that a bunch of shit talking random words (on that topic) from me. Nearly everything I do on the web at a personal level is experimental, go figure.

To shake things up a bit I want to post about The Daily POW and AltaCam.com, collectively another web site I partly own. Our web efforts to promote the Alta skiing lifestyle and mountain culture have been supported by Connie and Alta for over a decade.

This year we hired two outstanding content writers (Andria & Nate), one covering gear/outerwear and the other media. Traffic is up, people are engaging with the posts, but unfortunately there is no snow in the Wasatch…yet. Earlier this month I posted about three catalog additions…well here are four more. Remember, these featured discount ski catalogs only show items that are discounted a minimum 30% off the MSRP. That’s significant…$30 off a $100 item, and often times free shipping. It’s not brain science.

This is a biggie. Gotta love the headline of the email I just got from SteepandCheap.com, promoting a today only ski gear clearance sale. This sale started 15 minutes ago, and goes throughout the rest of March 9th. Just think, if you were subscribed to this blog you would have known about this killer opportunity to save cash on ski stuff immediately Here is the headline of the email:

Tramdock haunts SteepandCheap – First tracks on skis, boots and ski gear – March 9th starting at 10am MST.

For those who aren’t aware, Tramdock.com is the now defunct ski ODAT site from Backcountry.com. If you go there, you’ll notice they direct all traffic now to SteepandCheap.com. The widget below holds the current insane deal. Don’t be a sucker and pay full sticker.

Folks, there aren’t too many retailers online that offer ski deals that are better than this store. So what better time is there to add my first store sale catalog? June is the perfect month to line up killer ski gear deals for the upcoming winter season. Honestly, you’ve blown it if you wait until October to get what you need for ski season.
