This site is about featuring ski deals, and other than that a bunch of shit talking random words (on that topic) from me. Nearly everything I do on the web at a personal level is experimental, go figure.

To shake things up a bit I want to post about The Daily POW and AltaCam.com, collectively another web site I partly own. Our web efforts to promote the Alta skiing lifestyle and mountain culture have been supported by Connie and Alta for over a decade.

This year we hired two outstanding content writers (Andria & Nate), one covering gear/outerwear and the other media. Traffic is up, people are engaging with the posts, but unfortunately there is no snow in the Wasatch…yet. Rob Rowley is calling for 100 inches by end of month, and I have seen 100 inches in 100 hours. If you’re interested in notifications SUBSCRIBE to The Daily POW.

I wrote this largely because I was bored, but at least you know you’re getting the deal info from someone informed.

My ski gear deals site & database now offers a product search tool, serving results from several of the top retailers online that sell ski products, and have skiing gear deals. There are always discounts available from the top brands, and of course some times of the year you’ll find significantly more discounts than others.

OK it’s live…Introducing my new blog that features web deals for ski and winter gear exclusively. I get immediate notifications from over 50 of the web’s top outdoor stores when they have special offers, promos, coupons and basically any deal that becomes available. When I get those notifications I will post the details here right away, so you should definitely subscribe to my RSS feed(s).

You can subscribe to the top level of the blog, or to specific categories. Categories are based on individual stores as well as specific deals like coupons, free shipping, seasonal promotions, etc.

I am also starting an email list for interested savvy shoppers out there. More on that in a month or two. But the jist of it is that I’ll be sending out email notifications for the best of the best in terms of sales, coupons and promotions from participating stores.

And finally, as time goes by, I’ll be building in daily updated product catalogs that only feature items that are on sale from the respective retailers. More on that later as well.

Bottom Line: By subscribing to this blog or my email list you’ll be able to keep an eye on the best ski gear deals and offers out there, all via my updates and available RSS feeds.
